And, no matter whether you’re clearing out your attic, are a tradesperson with a van load, or a construction firm or manufacturer with tonnes of metal waste to dispose of each week, we are here to turn your metal into money – quickly, fairly and in full compliance with all environmental and legal requirements.

SIMPLE PROCESS FROM DROP-OFF TO PAYMENT

If you’re a commercial client we have bins, skips and containers for you to fill at your site for us to collect (see our How We Work section), but for everyone else, when you drop off your scrap metal to us, because we run a slick operation here, you’ll be in with your metal and out with your payment as efficiently as possible.

WHAT WE CAN TAKE (PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING)

We can take almost any ferrous and non-ferrous metals including copper, aluminium, iron, stainless steel, brass, tin, lead, zinc and more. If you know what metal you have, wonderful, but it’s not a requirement as we’ve experts on site who can identify any material in existence to make sure that you get a fair price for what you have. And if you can neatly divide your metals into ferrous and non-ferrous, or even into individual metal piles, you’ll be a superstar customer, but you’re just as welcome if you’d prefer us to do the sorting. Don’t forget that the metal you bring us does not need to be limited to traditional scrap – it could be items such as catalytic converters, washing machines, rubber-coated cabling, pipework, alloy wheels, old tools, door handles, kitchen pans or water tanks, to name just a few. If it has metal in it, we’ll happily take it.

CATALYTIC CONVERTERS (‘CATS’)

These are so full of valuable recyclable materials that we thought they should have their very own section. Catalytic converters clean up emissions from gasoline and diesel vehicles using metal catalysts which usually contain platinum, palladium and rhodium. Cats are priced individually by our expert in the field, based on the code that’s marked on them to tell us how much of the above materials they contain. So, if you have a cat that needs recycling, bring it to us today.

AT OUR GATES

We’ll ask if you have ferrous or non-ferrous metal to drop off and will direct you to the correct zone or help you determine what you have.

Step 2

WEIGHING

Everything is weighed, either on our 50m state-of-the-art weighbridge or scales for smaller items/amounts.

Step 3

IDENTIFICATION

Our team will help with any metal identification and where a question still remains, a more detailed scientific analysis can be carried out.

Step 4

DROP-OFF

You’ll be directed to a drop-off point to dispose of your load, then you’ll be asked to pop back onto the weighbridge one more time.

Step 5

PAYMENT

By the time you get to our office window our systems will have calculated the best price for your load and the payment completes in moments.

SEE YOU SOON

That’s it. Instant payment and you’re on your way.
